yeah, i remember those little books, the first 5 pages were full of instructions on how to order, dont ring if the date is an odd number, only ring between 5 & 5:15 pm, etc etc...the man was totally barking

its easy to tell the difference...if its on vinyl its a boot, if its styrene its an original, seem to remember richard domar selling the boots in the early 80's

hi blake, definate boot / reissue...original has address of label on it, where the publishing credits are on the one you posted, publishing credits are on the other side on the original...original is on styrene, boot is vinyl......fu**in great record, one of my all time favourites

i think you'll find there shelling out 3k for both the rareity & the song value, FACT.....billy woods is a shit rare record FACT....billy wood fills the dancefloor wherever its played forget the rumours about 250 copies still in america, until they are found billy woods will remain a rare record, simple as that

so, who is the man who does know ???? also, has anyone ever seen or know of any demo copies of this ??

totally agree with ya mate, wouldnt be the first case of this happening, exits - you got to have money, springs to mind, came out on yellow & green labels

ive got the yellow one that pottsy posted scans of, just been down to mates house to compare it with his orange one..stamps in deadwax are exactly the same, vinyl is identical i.e. same thickness, appearance, in fact they are identical in every way apart from the colour of the label....wheres john manship when we need him

not according to john manship who has a yellow one on his website at the moment for £75, havnt got a copy of his bootleg guide to hand but it lists the differences between propper yellow ones & counterfeit copys in there
