    Sellin up already Beeks?
  2. Chains and locks help stop a smash and grab theft, but I can't help thinking locks etc make things look valuable where otherwise they may be overlooked, When i was burgled they grabbed all the usual stuff but can't help thinkin if my boxes had locks on they may have been taken out of curiosity, Wasn't there a case not long back where a car was stolen with records in the boot, when car was found the records were still there intact?, maybe a lot more damage if stuff is under lock and chain, Anyway glad Kev got his 45's back (well most of em)
  3. Great news and a great relief A reminder to us all when we stop off anywhere when travelling, services, pub etc, and always think about taking the records in with us, but usually think sod it they will be ok, Pete E

Barney, i'm convinced footy stadiums are half full of blokes who only need to ask the wife one question at the right time, of which a positive answer gets them 20 trips outdoors, please may i get a season ticket? Or if your having those shoes i'm having a season ticket, ok then, result!!!!!!!!!
  10. Sean, just run it by me again please, Pete

That makes 1303 then, think this is a non starter Barney, good try though,
  13. Kinnell Steve that very short post will really blow beeks away PMSL
  14. I reckon Beeks should maybe paws for thought occasionally
  15. Gav my question was aimed at Beeks and his theory, not really a general enquiry
  16. I am ashamed to say that isn't the park it's my very poorly tended garden, and correct he can't sit on the couch
  17. What i meant there Jayne is you couldn't really just put modern, as Beeks in his wisdom suggests
  18. So a venue playing mainly past modern anthems would advertise their night how?
  19. If that's the case Beeks, why do we have Northern oldies? Or Northern oldies nights? As the modern scene has been going for decades surely a tune they were listening and dancing to 20 yrs ago but no longer do so can be classed as an oldie, hence a 'modern oldie'
  20. Surely modern oldies are what modern rooms USED to play, but rarely if ever play now? By modern room i mean a room that plays modern and not a room that plays anything other than 60's northern, The CD 'on the modern side' is full of what I would class as modern oldies, Beloyd Sidney Joe Jesse James Mandrill Innersection But what do I know?
  21. That's 2 chats and 1 pee in 2.5 mins (ish) Did you have time to let the bog door close behind you?
  22. Cheers Spot, i no longer have the list and was begining to doubt i read it as 'I don't know' especially as this one isn't on a demo (i don't think) Just out of curiosity what is the going rate nowadays for 'i don't know about you'? Pete Eccles
