Yep, but i bet ya a wigan patch it ain't a documentry about soul, i bet it's a love story, not intended to educate anybody about anything soulful, just to be a chick flick about love n soppy stuff like that, but a period love story, ffs it's a film, not a history lesson, And it don't matter, good film - bad film - let's go to work

Not really, how many sailed on the titanic? many many stories require few central roles with plenty extras, kinnell how many extra's in the millions of war films that have been produced where the main storyline was a love story? There really is other things in life besides NS you know, BTW Was Romeo and Juliet a film? maybe it was i'm no film buff but don't think i ever saw it,
  13. Great post, not that i'm into baggies or anythin, just into live and let live
  14. Pete Eccles replied to a post in a topic in All About the SOUL
Correct me if i'm wrong but as much as people want it to be a film 'about our scene' so they can play critic, IT ISN'T a film about NS, it's a 70's love story with some NS going on, However it turns out does it really matter? Surely it's not the end of the world if it's a bag of sh*te? I won't be losing any sleep anyway, i will have work to get up for,

  20. Stevie, over the years i have been to so many 'new' venues to a charity event, only to find it littered with flyers plugging all future events at said venue, Does make you think, Also known established events put on a 'charity' night, not on the same regular night that event runs on, so in effect kept their 'bread and butter night' as it is and perhaps used another events regular slot in the calender to run the charity night, without any comebacks, after all who can complain about a charity event? Having said all that, i'm sure there's many worthy causes benefit from the many events run for all the 'right' reasons, and they should be applauded, Pete
  21. How many replies is that? From someone who at the top of the thread reckoned it didn't warrant one, just curious,
