O.K. THEN.If the anoraks that are demanding to now see the records played on the turntables.here is the answer.! If they are willing to club together and supply all the d.j.s with an openended account at their local banks & source records from 40/50 yrs ago then i'm sure they will be able to "SEE & HEAR"(AND TOUCH IF THEY WANT!!)all the rarities they could wish for.(tounge well in cheek)?? We would all like to own and play originals but our bank accounts dont allow us to so please get a life, just enjoy the music on whatever format at the venue & play your originals if you have them at home.!

oooooh,! i've been there since 1965 and yes it is nice to see & collect original records as i do & have done since I was 14 Yrrs of age but it does not stop me dancing to a tune because it's not on the original label and no it's not it's not a tradition it's a preference. And please look up the spelling of "PREFERALBY & STADION" before your next post.L.O.L !!!.

just a question,?How can you hear originals!!!!!surely if you only hear a record you dont know whether it's an Original or a copy(so called Boot).so you would have to "See" the record. so if your only interested in "SEEING" Records to verify the authenticity of said tune your only interested in the Vinyl not the music.ipso facto a collector of vinyl/train spotter etc not a soul music fan.!! dont know why i replied to this totaly banal topic ,had lap top on my knee scanning soul source.whilst watching the football.

hi there Ninja,as you say only your opinion ,thanks for positive feedback ,as for the negative ,we have always billed this event as ACROSS the board soul music and try to have on d.j.s that reflect this policy, I.E.Ginger(northern+)Eddy(Across the board) Plumby(modern+) Des (northern/70,s+) e.t.c./e.t.c. We have never and will never tell our d.j.s what to play we leave it to them. There are times at most venues when the dancefloor is empty some d.j.s pull the record some dont.!!
