What makes it the first press the colour or are there marks on the disc, different stamp etc.

The LP is a different version than the single, shorter and in the mix but I am not that sure where.

Great record and the b-side is a killer mid tempo thing. I like all his records but I don't know too much about the Rays. I think that its all him doing the backing vocals.

The curse of I tunes and genre. I put Northern Soul in the Column but on some tracks it don't look right, so I then get Popcorn, Doo Wop, Beat Ballad for black & white R&B then in the mid and late 6ts I go for Garage for the blue eyed stompers.
