  1. See one every few weeks on ebay in vg condition. Rare as a minter.
  2. Has any one confirmed that a copy is missing the dead wax details?
  3. Cheers for that Mr 45 seller. My mate had a copy for turned out to be a boot! He played it out for years as well. Also have forgoten man wlp.
  4. The diplomats is another I always enjoy when it crops up on the ipod. Done a few cd's for friends ike and Tina stuff and both came back with the Charmaines idolize you.
  5. Dose it make the house smell.
  6. I thought that I read somewhere that Lorraine said she never sang this record/song although its credited to her on the UK issue. Just seen this so what is it? https://www.ebay.com/itm/rare-Soul-Acetate-45-LORRAINE-CHANDLER-love-you-baby-/310382010174
  7. I have WLP of both Pollard and Johnson for sale.
  8. Still a funny sonuding record boot, demo or yellow blue contemplated dontee.
  9. Deep on the top or Deep on the bottom. Its the same recording for either copy of You Said (well I have never heard the difference, for 1 she holds the note for no longer on every recording I have played) so its just a B-side varient then?.
  10. Ain't You Glad Mill Evans for me, great memories of kola dancing to this in unbelievable hi heels on the month before the anniversary. Oh! Garland Green and Judy Clay joint second place.
  11. A shead load more than chuck holiday I wager.
  12. The popsike oracle says so as well Grant. A few records I have its obvious that they sent an acetate too the pressing plant, so like this thats thr best your going to get.
  13. Didnt know this but just found it on you tube, great use of the backing track.
  14. Nice tune n a Great wigan oldy tho it was ony played in the last few years by Dave raistrick. As you so rightly say chalky Luther intra c/u Tim Wilson was the Aspirations/Admirations.
  15. From the original stamped I think that price is ok cause it would be limited press in the tho's.
  16. Don't they sound different! In the mix. Tried you tube and cant find one.
  17. Boot? Thought that a time issue on the last press from Nashville pressing plant- played as Timothy Wilson sort of proved it was a re-issue. Dunno.
  18. You have to remember that most of the records are mono so there is a lot of rubbish thrown at you. I wire my leads together, its not as impressive sounding but more correct. It sounds like this is your problem.

I have a vg Fred that plays with a little hiss sounds fine out.
  20. I have power supply upgrade on my turntable that can take your a frickin arm off if your not careful when putting a record on.
  21. I have used an RS cable for years, it rated second to Litzs cable (practicaly solid gold) and came second but only costs about .98P a meter for interconnctions and speakers.
  22. Re-wire..... Also it gives you more control on the base so it wont clip the driver.
  23. Cleaning the drive belt helps (washing up liquid) and pully wheels so it wont slip on finger grease. I re-wired my speakers and got a better sound, you spend so much on speaker cable then when you look in side the cabinet you have simple bell wire.
