have you used alternatives to the PO and if you have how much do they charge for the same service ? i've never used anybody else.

they have a little letterbox template behind the counter and I think the rule is if it fits through that then its a large letter.

I'm selling these Alfred Sargent brogues and have seen shoes discussed on here a few times so will give this a go before ebay. These are a qulaity shoe made in UK with an rrp in excess of 150GBP. Alfred Sargent shoes are made in Northampton and sell in luxury shops like harrods etc etc. I would like 75GBP delivered for these shoes which is a bargain. Any questions please ask. Only worn a couple of times i've photographed the heel on the sole where there are some small linbes in the pattern so you can see they haven't worn down at all. Front section of sole is leather so great for sliding about on the dancefloor. Goodyear welt so new soles can be replaced when required by a competant cobbler or by sending back to AS.

I went to a mod club in nottingham on sat night in a city centre location and they manage to pull in a reasonable amount of younish people. the soul scene realy does not seem to be as accessible to these people for whatever reason. i'm sure there will always be a healty interest in soul music by a few and I agree with what geeselad has to say the alternatives to the soul scene are all pretty dire. People just need to realise that

try finding "i'm a man just like you" his far far better and much rarer cat release. Probably his rarest 45 ? thats a real challenge.

I don't have it anymore but i do have an Ex copy of his other 45 on rapda which is a realy nice sweet soul ballad titled "what am I guilty of" which I would sell for 25GBP if you need it.

its quite a common record but does have some demand maybe 50 quid or a bit less ?

I think more here will know this 45 from the other side. I will check my boxes but i'm fairly certain the couple I had have gone. Don't wait for me if somebody offers you one at the price you want to pay go for it.

I don';t mind waiting a few days extra for a 45. my hypothetical would be if there was UK copy from somebody I didn't know and a copy in US from somebody who I deal with i would buy the US one. Also its easy to say you have found a copy of a 45 cheaper elsewhere but would you disclose to somebody with the more expensive copy where the cheap copy is when asking for the discount ? I'm not suggestign you do this at all just another thing to consider that some might do in order to try and snag a bargain.

potential buyers who tell you your record is overpriced and they can get it cheaper elsewhere then come back and tell you the same thing 2 days later........... FFS if its realy cheaper someweher else just go buy it. I do make offers if I think somethings is priced a bit wrong and also have come down in price with my own sales. It depends on a whole host of things. No 2 deals are alike.
