I agree chalky should be cheap but a copy just went mad on ebay about a month or two ago. Nearly $200 good record.

yes tony owens is great keeping that one for now. they are quite different versions can't realy compare them. Each is good in its own right.

yes I think it was martha on the new year show. I've just dropped a clanger there getting them mixed up..... it was martha who was realy bad.

she did the new year special of jools holland a couple of years ago and to be honest it wasn't very good to me. I was listeniong wanting to hear her how she would have sounded at her peak and it was a big dissapointment. I hope she's imporved now for those that are going to see her. i'd rather listen to the records recorded when these people were at their peak.

just checked manship vol 5 all the bill brandons he has at that price are about right IMO. I certainly got all mine for less than that. there is only one badly priced bill brandon IMO

i've heard about those lists but never seen any. Bet they make amazing reading. some of my best records have come from Japan. I once found some great old pictures of soul clubs in Japan in 60s or 70s on somebodies blog. Hitoshi had an amazing blog buts its gone now.....
