I bought my copy in that brief spell about 20 years ago when they were available for £80-£150 depending on who's box they were in. Does anyone know how many were found. Must have been a few as they were widely available - an impossible 45 and then it just appeared.
  3. I had 8 or 9 copies in the 90s. Listed it for £25-£40 and it was a tough sell. All long gone. Sold my own copy last year for £700. Paul Capon

    I'd be wanting £60 + £2.50 Rec del to U.K.

  6. I have a Mint copy @£40 + postage email me paul capon xoversoul@ntlworld.com
  7. I have two M- issue copies but the DJ copy is a VG copy. It has a bit of light crackle at the slow bit at the start. It would be £20. Sorry ran out of time today. Let me lnow if still interested me we'll pick this up when I get back
  8. I'm sure it does (long/short) Will check grade and confirm tonight. NB I'm away for two weeks from Thursday. We only have tomorrow to sort this. Let you know this evening (working until 10pm so it will be late). Once confirmed please send payment ASAP to £45+ P&P £2.50. Preferred payment method is internet bank transfer to P.Capon 30-12-15 a/c 01126058. PayPal via Friends and Family to xoversoul@ntlworld.com (this means logging on to Paypal and going into 'Send a Request' and then 'Send money to friends and family) I will then be able to post tomorrow
  9. Hi - I have both DJ @£45 Instant love mono/stereo and an issue with Let me prove my love to you on the flip@ £75 need to double check but should be M- or Ex let me know - Paul Capon
  10. That same day two small blocks of wood were strategically installed to make my letterbox 6" wide - never again!!!!
  11. Put it this way - no amount of Wand waving would fix it!
  12. I have a Stemmons that the dog ate as it came through the letterbox about 20 years ago. what did it go for? (Sniff, sniff)!!!
  13. How did you find a Cloudburst??? one of my favs. Not seen one for years. Got mine for £50 in the clearly 90's and he had 5 of them!!!!!
  14. Probably falls under of 'actor who put out a soul record' rather than 'soul person in a movie' but Carl Weathers AKA Apollo Creed from Rocky fame (& Predator) put out the one-off mushy ballad/stepper 'You know you ought to be with me' on Mirage in the 80's.
  15. I have nice little Jackie Ross 45 'Who could be loving you / Don't change your mind - Fountain demo vg+. Two nice sides, lovingly looked after and played by numerous unknown people since it was pressed in 1969 some 47 years ago and has even survived a trip across the Atlantic. This record is listed amongst 13 other copies on a well know web site. Yesterday I received a message 'Are you open to offers on this record?' My price? The princely sum of £5.90!! I wonder what planet he is from? I politely said sure - I'd accept £5.89.....
  16. Pretty sure I have this in M- /EX @£20 regards paul capon
  17. I've never understood collecting a particular label - the old 'I'm missing number xxx in my run of Veep records'. If number xxx is an atrocious record why would you want to by it??? That's no longer collecting for the music - it's a different type of collecting. A Beatles collector might by 10 different copies of 'She loves you' as it was released in 10 different pic sleeves. The 10 copies are not purchased because the collector simply loves the track. Re filing: I also can't understand sorting in label order (let alone geographical by label !!!). If I want to find a Major Lance record I go to 'L' and there they all are - simples!!!
  18. I may still have this as well
  19. Pretty sure I have this the last two I've seen went for £38(vg) and £59(vg+) will check grade and get back to you. Paul Capon
