Think the breakthrough 1003 is on an orange label, and the later 1004 release is red.First books at £200,second £75.Me i have and would go for the very very similar W.F.B on the nice looking California Gold label and save a wedge
  18. A very well written, tongue in cheek, but thought provoking post Jocko.Oh by the way also TRUE
  19. Hi Guys, love reading these type of threads.I missed out on the Casino but over the years i have seen out most of the great dancers you have all mentioned. However i have never knowingly met or seen the Legendary Frank Booper. Are there any posted photos of him or tube clips with him in just to put an image to the name i keep hearing about

Must appologise Vaultofsouler i have just found out i've been talking bollocks ,the edited version i have is on a white label carver i picked up at keele many moons ago and i think it was lifted from a C D don't know which. The BOOT label one i've been going on about sounds like its the PP version which is slightly different to the Roulette one as i'm sure you know. There is a long 8 mins plus alt version posted on you tube.Think i should just stick to my Roulette issue and be happy with its short brilliance, don't like 12' never have. But thanks for replys and sorry for any confusion on my part my heads a shed on sunday nights in fact most nights these days

Thats not the same thing at all mate,The 12' has a very long too long intrumental section, while this edited version has a shorter one followed by an extra verse
  22. Patto posted a post in a topic in Look At Your Box
Thanks for that mate, interesting so the only example of this longer edit on vinyl is the Boot label disc, shame its not legit and can't get spun out think it improves on the shorter 45 version which ends too soon.Interesting series of records on the BOOT label i recall them appearing around early 90s think another one had the Detroit Prophets on it.Back to E.S.P does the longer version appear on any CDs

Hi guys Big old fave of mine--MY BABY'S GOT E S P---FOUR BELOW ZERO. I have an original Roulette copy,i also picked up a re-issue some years back on the BOOT label. This re-issue has a longer version of the track with an extra verse.Where does this come from is it the PP label version or an album cut Thanks in advance--PATTO

Nice one Debbie you've made this Soulie blush.Don't know weather to feel pleased for your partner or sorry for him especially if everything has to be done at 100MPH

I Think the principle of ender tracks is a VERY traditional and important element of a nighter. Its an emotional come down and closure of the night. You have had all night to dance to the uptempo stormers and there is no better way to leave than a slow dance to a spine- tingling slab of soul Think the casinos 3 before 8 are perfection and will never be beaten, but if i have to choose alternatives i think i'll go for Carl Carlton---You Can't stop a Man in love Betty Lavette---Almost Bessie banks ---Go Now much better than sex, that can wait till sunday afternoon
