Perhaps venues should follow what Bentinck (East Mids) have done - have 2 rooms. The main room is the popular sounds, 80% 60's and 20% 70's and I know a few of the guest DJ's have been known to play the odd re-issue / bootleg etc but the crowd in there don't care - they're there to dance and have a good night out The back room is 100% original vinyl - Rare / underplayed 60's and 70's and the crowd in their go purely to hear the music and pick up on new sounds Everyone's happy
