  1. Kim Weston - Take me in your arms, 1965
  2. Love Don't Come No Stronger ( Than Yours And Mine ) - Jeff Perry performed in 1976
  3. Mary Wells - awesome performance of her classic post-Motown hit "Use your head" in 1965. One of my favorite songs.
  4. This brother/sister duo from Greensboro made a little noise on the soul scene in the '60s. They signed with Juggy Murray Jones' Symbol label in 1962. Their biggest hit was "Mockingbird," in 1963, which was a number two R&B and number seven pop smash. Their vocal tradeoffs and arrangement were primarily responsible for its appeal, though Foxx could do some sizzling numbers on her own. They continued with "Ask Me" and "Hurt by Love," then switched to Musicor. Their final moderate hit was "(1-2-3-4-5-6-7) Count the Days" in 1967 for Dynamo, which reached number 17 on the R&B charts. Inez Foxx had a solid LP on her own for Volt in 1969, At Memphis. But her solo songs for the label didn't generate much interest in the early and mid-'70s. James Taylor and Carly Simon later did a cover of "Mockingbird." ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide

The Fleet was my first nighter in 1978, have some very happy memories of the Fleet nighters, if I remember it didn't start until either 00:30 or 1:00am. Always used to enjoy Brian Rae's spot
  13. First heard Joanie Sommers at Silverdale Commuinty Centre near Nottingham around 1979-80, Chris King played it during his guest spot. Also heard it at Derby nighters. It was released by Kent Records in the late 80's on Satisfying Our Souls LP (KENT 092)
  14. Due to unforeseen circumstances we can't make it to Blackpool, so if anyone wants these tickets they can have them for £25.00 each (Nottingham)
