thanks for that - I'd imagine Latimore would a bit later as the Cherokees thing is about '65 or '66, if it's the same track.

Does anybody know who, if anybody, recorded this track first? I only know it by the UK group the Cherokees, but due to the writing credits I thought maybe there's a soul/r&b version by an American artist......but maybe not? I can't come up with anything. Any thoughts much appreciated!

My pleasure - mine's a white demo as well, and I agree that musically it's not that great, just OK.....but an interesting release from the Madara-White stable that slipped through the cracks.
