Oh my gawd please pick me up off the floor - I have just been crying with laughing for the last ten minutes reading this - so so funny - best laugh i have had in ages - thank you - there should be a thread with the most funniest things people have done, said or been through - I haven't even got to the end of page 1 yet - thanks again QUALITY

Well I would have been twelve and remember taking the little radio to bed and hiding under the covers listening to Radio Luxembourg and trying to keep the volume low enough so my big sister couldn't hear it, otherwise she would sprag to mum and dad and then the radio would be confiscated and a smack on the back of the legs would surely follow. Can remember listening to "Going to a GO GO" on Radio Luxembourg and a good few other gems, but the poor little radio's reception wasn't too clever and so everything was crackling and I'd be frantically trying to tune it in - oh those were the days - no central heating - loads of blankets on the bed which weighed an absolute ton when you got under them. Oh it all seems like yesterday............ I wish......

Sam Dees - Lonely for you baby ooooh forgot another one rarely played;- Nancy Wilson - You Don't Mean It If all the above were played in one night - WOW I would consider it to be an excellent night out. And just love Ollie from the X Factor too - hope he wins - whoop whoop

  9. Personally I think the Masqueraders "How" is brilliant and definately underplayed - it sounds slow but the beat is defo a shuffler (well for me anyway) just love it so for all you DJ's please play it
  10. Peter Barlow, the bloke with ginger hair who used to work in the garage with Kevin Webster (his name escapes me) his daughter Lucy? (not sure on her name either) but think she lived with Martin Platt at some stage all went to Brighouse a few years ago - didn't see Ken or Emily though
  11. Not sure where the mens toilet was - never went - but think the guy was tall - thin and he wore glasses too and the capped sleeve t-shirt if i remember correctly

  17. Its My absolute favourite - great to dance to - Love GSH. There is a faster version although not sure who the Lady Singer is but it just blows me away If anyone knows it or can put something on here so I can check it out would appreciate it. I reckon its bang in the middle
  18. I definately have the 3rd and 4th Wigan Anniversary badges - got quite a few more too in a shoe box somewhere. Will have to dig them out and just check exactly what I have got - back in the day used to have them on a royal blue speedo bag - actually I think that may be lurking somewhere .........

Well its Saturday Night and finished watching "Britains Got Talent" and just couldn't decide whether to go out or stop in - Obviously stopping in Won as well as "Little George" and after all the excitement on the TV - decided to turn on the computer for a a little light entertainment so if you're bored and feel like joining in....................because I just know we have some true Poets out there that can give us all a smile and a giggle..........i'm just starting the ball rolling The weekends here and your getting ready To choose a Soul Night from so many You pay your money on the door Walk in, smile, nod and head for the floor oh go on go on go on go on....
