Two fabulous tracks originally released on St.Louis based 'Yodi' records, under licence from Numero Group to Big Man Records, taken from 'Yodi' masters and remastered for this release.

'Yodi' records was an early 70's soul label based in East St. Louis, Illinois, owned by Allan Merry associated with Gateway and Merry records.

Sharon Clarke, knew Dauphine Williams very well, as did Gus Thornton, they all played together. What folks may not know is that Dauphine was s real card, a very funny guy, but nobody from the Yodi family I spoke to in 2005/6 had heard from him in a very long time, I wonder if he even knows his 45 is sought after…
