For all our events at this venue we will be using our state of the ART  Italian Import RCF (Radio Cine Forniture) 9000 watt plus sound system in Main room.
Darkside also has RCF 6200 watt sound for your Dancing pleasure.

Its a Victorian sprung dance floor it don't need talc , please respect this piece of history and respect us too.

Calling all soul boys & girls! If Northern Soul classics with a sprinkling of Motown favourites is your passion, played by the UK's premier Northern Soul Band, then this is an experience you can't afford to miss!

Now in their seventeenth year as the UK's leading Northern Soul band, THE NORTHERN SOULTRAIN roll into town for what promises to be yet another big soul party.
This nine piece freight train of a soul band had already been filling dance halls and dance floors with their powerful live shows when in 2013 the band decided to focus almost exclusively on Northern Soul. Since then, the band have gone from strength to strength gaining high praise from venues, festivals, promoters and audiences all over the country.

Fronted by their charismatic and energetic lead singer David Jaggs, the group also present the sounds of the Union Pacific Horns and one of the tightest and driving rhythms sections currently on the soul scene!

THE NORTHERN SOULTRAIN will be playing live, the very best soul anthems from Wigan Casino, Twisted Wheel and Blackpool Mecca. Great songs by Dobie Gray, Frank Wilson, Al Wilson, Julien Covay, Billy Butler and many more. A cabaret show this is not. This will be an authentic soul party with plenty of room for dancing on the local areas biggest and best wooden dancefloor. We look forward to meeting you down the tracks.
