About The Event
The Cherry Pit Rhythm and Soul Club is one year old!!!
Come and help us celebrate the first anniversary of Wigan's ONLY basement 60s style Soul club.
The Cherry Pit is NOT a traditional Northern Soul event (there is LOADS of that in and around Wigan) instead, we focus on the pre-ballroom, 60s Club scene. Expect to hear late 50's/early 60's R'n'B, early Motown, Club Soul, Ska, Mod and British R'n'B.
The resident DJs are joined this time by Phil Sharples and Pete Everett (The Sink) and we'd love you to come and help us celebrate our birthday.
Sunday 4th September, 2-8pm, £5otd at The Boulevard, Wallgate, Wigan. WN1 1LD - 2 minutes walk from both Wigan train stations.
