The Boat, Trentside, Nottingham NG2 5FA  - 4th Friday of every month 

We aim to continue the nights of the Brit / Boat / Union  Playing 100% OVO. Playing the best of soul. Using the best of DJs

    I don't normally leave reviews on our own event but after years (and I mean years) of trying to get Andy Rix to do the Boat club for us I think it's worth a mention. Andy did one hour of top quality unissued, one offs, major league rare sounds and could of gone on all night - Total quality start to finish. Andy doesn't do a lot of DJ'ing nowadays but if you ever get the chance to see him then don't miss it.

    And then it was time for Dave Richard's (Spook) following Andy Rix is no easy task but when you have records like Spook there is nothing to worry about.

    Well done you two - The Boat team.
