re the above, I idolize you' was on the Sue LP 'Ike and Tina Turners Greatest hits' (1964); I have a really scuffed copy (but playable, 'disc only) of this LP, I found after searching through PILES of Orchestral and Ken Dodd LPs, in a Charity shop (always knew I should visit that shop). There are two versions of this song, that I know of, at least...

I've got this on a Hallmark release too... great pic of them on the cover from their ready steady go appearance (I think?)

say i've not herd it all but what i have herd IMHO is not great

have to admit i've never been keen on ike and tina but i like i idolize you ( although the charmaines is so much better) and " crazy bout you baby"

Yes, I would guess, from the sound of it, that the Hallmark LP version is the later, it's more 'sanitized', (cleaner?) than the rougher, 'screamer', with the broody, Blues Piano tinkling away, in the background
