Any info on: Benny Royce & CO Drivin my love away Delmar ???

Thanx

It's from Delaware. A very rare record in my opinion.

Interesting record

Had given it the odd play a couple of years ago as DC Magnotones cover up

Two or three turned up but as stated seems to be pretty rare

2 fairly good sides

Thanx! Yep, fantastic record! I love the drum breaks just before the chorus!!! I might get some more info about them from someone who may have been a member of the band years ago. I am not so sure but he was a musician (apparently also with Benny Royce & Company) and played with a few local bands in Washington DC /Dover/Delaware around 1966-

Didn't Greg Tormo have one up for £750 at Prestatyn a couple of years ago?

I have a copy but don't really rate it highly enough to play out anywhere. Suprised it passed as the DC Magnatones as a cover-up 'cos I love "Does She Love Me" mind you they are from a similar area I suppose.

I've got one of these too, but like Ged haven't really played it out at all. First heard it on a Tim Ashibende tape many moons ago...
