Male artist sort of jazzy,great sound in my humble opinion..

It's "I Want To Feel I'm Wanted" by Frankie Beverly & The Butlers on Fairmount. Actually the B-side to "Because Of My Heart".

Have no accurate idea of price at the minute, but something in the region of high three-figures is all I know! Any ideas, anyone?

interestingly (maybe) a later version shows up on one of his maze albums

other "just didnt cut it" covers??

I only know the Maze version and think it's pretty good - as virtually all Maze stuff is. I'd be interested to hear the earlier version.

As for cover versions that don't quite cut it, I always think of the mid 60s British pop versions of soul records that still got NS plays, such as Timebox, etc.
