Have you guys listened to the clips of 'say something nice to me' & 'taking care of business', graded VG+ & VG- respectively ?

They sound lousy to me, surely the seller has been a bit over keen with his grading here, no? It's only been going a day &

there are 6 bids already. People must be barking. I wouldn't want a record that sounded like that, even if it was Bobby Kline.

no way in the world is that vg+ sounds better after about first 40 seconds but thats a lot of record to get through before it clears up and even then it still crackles. i'd say vg- for say something ?

bought a vg- last week off ebay that sounds loads better than this. Probably will be pretty badly marked but the sound clip was fine.

MEGA POPS AND CRACKLES AND THE VOCAL PARTICULARLY ON THE SSNTM SIDE SOUNDS VERY DISTORTED, VERY GOOD DON'T EVEN COME INTO IT, SHOULD BE GRADED FAIR AT BEST AND CERTAINLY SPOILED MY ENJOYMENT OF THE RECORD.

you know something..... i think people believe oh if i win that it`ll clean up and it probably will play better after its had some soap and warm water round it but this copy sounds a bit worn to my ears no amount of cleaning will get rid of that..........avoid

Yeah, sounds rough as hell to me. Majestic record yes, but big money sounding like that? Trouble is, same old thing, somebody sells one like that and then other people follow suite. At the end of the day though, if people will pay that for a record sounding that rough, what can you do about it?

in the selers defence he's added a full mp3 so the grading becomes a little bit meaningless.

if there was no mp3 and buyers were going on the grading they would be seriosuly p**sed off when it arrived
