My tip: Also look out for their fabulous 45 on Triode. It delivers what can easily be described as the best version of "Old Man River" ever backed with a tremendous group harmony side in the vein of "Never". SMooooooTH Soul and then some...

Its certainly a rare record. I used to collect Tarx/Trax/Triode etc in the 80s and got the Strands as an unknown. I think I spun it at Blackburn circa 87/88.
