Why does the seller keep his/her bidders private? What's the story behind that?

The reason Manship and several other wise sellers do the same....Some things aren't worth broadcasting. After over 9 years on Ebay, I felt it time to ward off the rumour starters and gossip columnists. Who cares who bought what and for how much? Sick of hearing all of that, sorry.

I don't post what I sell at the local record shows either and to whom or how much they spent...no difference.
