Isn't the original on Soul Recordings out of Germany or Italy (Pic Sleeve)? That's what mine is on and it plays loud n proud.

THE ORIGINAL IS ON CHARAY IN THE US, WHERE IT WAS ISSUED TWO OR THREE TIMES. THINK THE LATER GERMAN RELEASE WAS DUBBED FROM THE CHARAY 45 WHEREAS THE SPANISH RELEASE WAS DUBBED STRAIGHT FROM LP I BELIEVE, HENCE THE LOW VOLUME.

Yep absolutely the French press. on Soul Record SR 7 sounds much better than the Spanish one on Belter ...

If anybody wants the German LP, including also the superb crossover "Baby come back" i have one on the sales section...
