Hi, could anyone tell me if this came out as a 45 or is it an album track.

Also, was the song done as a 45 by anyone else?

thanks

Alan

sorry about that mp3

ricky.

As I recall Kent issued an LP with the track credited to Big Maybelle but subsequently discovered that the track was actually by the Charmers

It's been a long time so my memory has faded but I think the Kent LP version is an alternate take, and better cut, of the take that was released as a 45

I'm sure somebody else can confirm and supply more detail

Can't supply more detail but at least I can confirm that it's the Charmers, alternative take (different lead vocal).

Here is (are) the Charmers...anyone got a proper finished label demo, or are they all ink-stamped?

Was quite a popular spin at the 100 Club during those long-lost Latin years of the mid-8T's!

the real question is, who the were the charmers, the same names are on the pip record and the laurie records but the laurie records have a female lead with male backing group and the pip record is a female group.
