im deaf in one ear since infancy . i always try going to one side of a dancefloor . sadly im going deaf in the other one now . oh well . at least the last music ill hear will probably be northern soul

l used to put my cassette recorder on the left- hand speaker at Wigan,and hope for the best!!

I have screaming tinitus which the quack blames on Wigan. "My spot" on the floor was in front of the right hand speaker, about 10' away - looks like we were all brushing shoulders eh?

Still, it's a small price to pay I reckon - in the scheme of things .

At The Casino (or anywhere for that matter)was the music so loud that you said 'Yes' to everything...Even questions like "So where have you come from?" "What's your name?" etc.etc.

Same with me on the earache thing,Had it for years sice Wigan,But the thing I really remember was about 2-3 days later was the really sore throat from all the shouting"WHAT ARE THEY PLAYING THAT FOR"
