hi all, just watched the mint- copy finish on ebay, had a listen to the soundclip which on the run in going into the intro had some distortion which is the same as my copy sounds (abit like a cue burn) is this the same on other copies?

I had a minter back in the day Russ, and it too had an odd noise at the beginning, I had always assumed it was a pressing fault. I also wonderd whether there was a connection between the Rika label that the Fabulous Jades and the Rika Tommy Bush was on.

They've all go it, just on the run in, I seemed to buy a copy of this at Wigan every month, it was a standard £8 in those days, loved it back then.

I have a few records like that, always thought it could be something to do with the cutting a sound noise so you know when the music starts. The Franciscans for one has it.
