John Grant (Short's in Manchester) used to play the copy that went to Sam for a lot of money in about 75/76. Only knew at that time as by Jerry Jackson and nobody knew what was on the other side.

What an effin' record - when I saw the question it took me right back to St Ives circa 77 where I first heard Sam play it...... remembered the Jerry Jackson bit but not Herman Lewis

Could be , its one I didn't associate with Sam ................. but it was 30 years ago & I was blocked most of the time whistling.gif
