I'm usually pretty confident that dates are right, because I don't include a date if I don't know it. (Of course there are exceptions where labels did strange things with catalogue numbers :lol:)

I don't think they'll be far out Dave - I was more giving your site a plug / memory jog than blaming you if the info is wrong... but if the cap fits and all thatbiggrin.gif

(Actually I guessed you'd only include dates if you thought they were right and they were around the years I expected they should be - without digging through loads of mags for no doubt the same answers)

Google's book search site is a pretty good start for getting release dates. If a certain record was featured in say Billboard magazine a result pops up. E.g. Velvet Satins was reviewed in Billboard magazine on May 8, 1965.
