Is there such a thing?

I know the length of hiss does vary from a few seconds to almost half way through the record (like mine). Never heard a completely no hiss copy though. Would love one of those myself.

Joan I've only ever had one copy and I don't remember there being a hiss on it, it was fairly low-fi though. Sold it to Mick Smith and I think he kept it.

I had the chance to buy one that only had a few seconds of hiss but I couldn't afford it. Grrrr.

I wonder why some have no hiss, others have a few seconds of hiss, and some are nearly all hiss (like mine) :sweatingbullets:

That said, it did only cost me a tenner so I thought it was worth the gamble.

Thanks for that Pete, but mines has a hiss pretty much all the way through.

I did have one that I gave to Ady Harley as present last night of Stafford that I am pretty sure did not hiss as I played it out at the time, wonder if Ady will consider it a long term loan and pay it back now! Mind it only cost me £2.50 soI can even beat Joan's!
