DJ copies on Groove City are usually just like the issues but with D.J. Copy printed in silver on the blue/green label.

Here's a white DJ copy of Robert Ward I picked up.

Anybody know how rare is this please?

Has anyone got any other WDJs on Groove City?

Cheers

Richard

Out of interest Richard, have you got any records in your collection which are not on Detroit labels?!

Sure Dave - I have quite a few non-Detroit things but they are all records from when I used to collect other stuff. Used to have a decent collection of 60s Northern classics and obscurities.

I only buy Detroit and Detroit-related releases now - but have branched out to include funk, R&B and some earlier 70s stuff.

On the basis that I couldn't have everything I wanted I just decided to specialise a few years ago now (but still can't have everything I want  )

A top DJ said to me a while ago - "Ermm ... Detroit collectors - they used to have those in the 70s":lol:

Cheers
