Posted August 22, 200519 yr Has anyone got an mp3 of James Bynum "love music". Had it for years on a tape & you guessed it, bloody tape recorder just chewed it up. It used to be a big tune for Poke at Clifton Hall in the early 80s Any info would really be appreciated.

August 22, 200519 yr Thanks Simon top record. Suppose it's a one off then is it? Wonder where it is now? any info? link Seem to remeber Nige Parker getting it off Poke in the eighties, so it might be with Carl Fortnum now.
August 23, 200519 yr It's in Japan I believe. It was spun on the funk scene for a while by the Rustler before he shipped it off to the east to fund a new floor for his front room. Fantastic record. Russ' is mates with Karl, so maybe that's were he got it from, although I'm sure I rememebr him getting it out of Keb. Quite a few years ago now though, probably at least 5 years so the memory is a little blurry. I'm always surprised at the number of heavy funk records that were spun as 'northern', during the war and all that! Edited August 23, 200519 yr by James Trouble
