Not at all Northern or danceable but who cares. For me this is still one of the very best soul records I've ever heard.

Not everyones cuppa but to me this defines what SOUL music is all about.

Some records leave me cold but this gives me the shivers.

The O.V.Wright shares a similar backing track to Buddy Lamp's 'Save Your Love' and Lee Rogers' 'Sock Some Love Power At Me' etc...rough, raw and mighty Northern Soulful!

The Tennyson Stephens is an obscure one and certainly a lesser known number...one for fans of the Northern/R'n'B/Popcorn/Latin sound!

Here's another lesser known one (from my sales shelves!) which is a cracking feel-good Northern dance track...kinda reminds me of Arthur Alexander's 'Keep her guessing' for some reason!!!
