Chasing-up his dues after just over a week? Now that's what i call doing business.Sixty to ninety days and still waiting is how it's done in most businesses these days, especially in the UK.How i would like to send out Messers Derringer & Colt45 to 'hurry them along'!!!LOL.

Frazier had a real hustle going on back then. The man was going to get PAID.

The Burger King is still there today to boot.

Love it. I did interview Cal Thomas for radio some years ago (Soul 24-7) and he gave a GREAT insight into the group and their touring round Tx. I must dig that out and republish.

Would love to hear it if you manage to find it.

Brilliant!

I wonder how much of that $600 fee trickled down to the band?

As their agent, Frazier usually took 20%-30% of each gig. But the letter indicates that Frazier appeared there as well, meaning he likely acted as an emcee for the event or in some promotional capacity. He was quite the popular radio deejay at the time, so that would make sense.I'm sure he took a fee for that too.
