Just noticed that Keith Fordyce - stalwart of Ready Steady Go in the early 60's - sadly passed away.

Here he is introducing Dusty doing cover of Arthur Alexander original.

Plus you get a brief clip of co-presenter Cathy McGowan dancing with Ringo!!

Very sad news. Reports say he died on 22 March, aged 82.

You can't say he didn't have a good innings though.

RIP Keith.

He was pretty "square" to say the least  but nevertheless a great presenter of RSG, sadly missed

KF was the straight face of RSG, CM the trendy one BUT it worked - and how!

RIP KF

thats sad, only just noticed this post, pete townsend's mate richard barnes published a book in 78/79 called "mods"...actually i think at the time it may have been a re-print...in it, he referred to kieth as: "the token, boring fart presenter" next to cathy mcgowan and kenny lynch, nevertheless thats no worse than totp with david "hello there" jacobs or pete murray...in the event, kieth fordyce was in the mix from the beginning and he deserves gratitude and respect for his service to the industry.
