Posted October 11, 200519 yr Local pop group from the 60's, The Montanas, did about 6 singles for Pye produced by Tony Hatch...someone said they did a version of I'm Gonna Change which came out in the US only...anyone know if this is true or heard it?

Tubbs not heard either but looks avail on cd VARIOUS ARTISTS Ripples Volume 7: Rainbows (Sequel) RAINBOWS is the last of the wonderful Ripples series, and it returns to the sunshine pop theme of the first two volumes. For my money, it does it up even better. Listening to this must be the aural equivalent of eating apples freshly picked from the Royal orchard - every track is brimming with sunshine-y goodness! Of course the usual suspects are here, like The Montanas, who do the psych-sprinkled "You're Making a Big Mistake" and a nice version of the northern soul-ish Four Seasons song "I'm Gonna Change". The Rockin' Berries contribute the "He's In Town" clone "You're My Girl" and The Ivy League's "Tossing and Turning" features top gear harmonies. However, the Ripples

October 11, 200519 yr Thanks Mike the clip come from a review in shindig mag site, first time come across that site, its a uk sort of garage/psych site with a lot of content, pdf versions of reviews, interviews and so om well worth a visit if interested in that sort of thing just added link to link section in off the beat bit
