Looks fantastic, but bear in mind there's no ska on there - it's all jamaican R&B and ballads. Won't be any ska until 1962-63 volumes.

All legal and above board. Not sure when the new laws come in but I'm afraid that 1962 may be the last stuff that most of us see reissued as they're making it 70 years instead of 50 soon for something to be in copyright.

i have the first 2 sets , just waiting till my birthday to get the third , good to have these on official releases but at least i still have most of the other tracks on this label on the collector made sets that were being swapped a few years ago until they get the proper release

err theres 2 differant companys that are putting them out hence the confusion vol 1 and vol 2 and then 1960 and 1961. All available on HONEST JONS web site oh first two are lps or cds

Yep it's very confusing, the yearly ones have the entire singles on A&B sides plus a few tunes from the actual Melodisc label.
