Posted July 30, 201113 yr This monster sound of Detroit group Northern from the legendary Falcons came out on both green and blue Big Wheel labels. The blue label seems quite a bit rarer, but does anyone know why it was pressed in the two colours, which came first etc.? Cheers Richard
July 31, 201113 yr Cant help you on that Richard, but have noticed that some of the green copies have a small portion of the label trimmed, the edge missin,,so it's not a complete circle. Boring, but interesting to some...

July 31, 201113 yr Bet this is something as simple as they ran out of blue/green paper depending on which one was pressed first, despite selling most bits and bobs I've kept most of my group stuff including a green one of this stunning record pretty much as good as it gets. Mark Bicknell.
August 2, 201113 yr This monster sound of Detroit group Northern from the legendary Falcons came out on both green and blue Big Wheel labels. The green colour matches the rest of the labels releases.
August 3, 201113 yr I've had more green ones than blue 6/1 When I was looking for it in the late 80's/90's I saw more blue than green, maybe more green have been found since then! I think it was meant to be a green label release, as all the other label releases, before and after, are green.
