Do I Love You is certainly up there, especially since it's remained ultra rare despite rumours of THOUSANDS being found in the same warehouse that the Lost Ark was stored in. My candidate would be 'You Didn't Say a Word' - incredible record!

Not my choice but realistically Frank Wilson takes some beating as the definative oldie, over played even though it is shit rare, known by everyone and his dog, requested at every oldies night in the country, no1 in the top 500, the record I proposed to Margaret to when it was still covered up as Eddie Foster, well the last one may not mean out to you lot but to me its the reason I'm so sad that its so overplayed now.

My choice would be the Epitome of Sound - sums up Northern to me anyway.

Ski-ing in the snow - Wigans Ovation

or

Footsee - Wigans Chosen Few

Seriouslly now here are 3 contenders.

OOTF - Dobie Gray

Love Love Love - Bobby Hebb

The Right Track - Billy Butler.
