Posted November 5, 201113 yr Hi everyone There are several different formats of the Dynamics - Yes, I Love You Baby (Top Ten) Anyone got a feel for which of the white demos is the rarest please? Two are vinyl releases and then the West Coast one with the bars which is styrene Am I correct in thinking that the blue West Coast styrene issue is probably the rarest format of them all? Plus, were there issues for the other (non West Coast) formats or just demos? Cheers Richard

November 6, 201113 yr Author Paper labelled repress on Laurie mid seventies ? Sorry Richard cannot answer the above on Top Ten. Thanks Nick Here's a Popsike scan Cheers Richard
November 6, 201113 yr I have the blue one myself so THEREFORE it is the rarest and most valuable Actually though i have never seen the paper label w bars demo so i'd say that's the rarest demo, italicized demo seems to pop up most, but I haven't been at this as long as most. Great record nd i love how the bside calls out Harvey's Any Way Ya Wanna

Great record nd i love how the bside calls out Harvey's Any Way Ya Wanna Think you may be right there about the relative rarity of the demos - my WDJ is the vinyl one with the block letters - plus I have the styrene blue issue Anyone seen any issues in the other formats, apart from the West Coast please, or can post scans? Cheers Richard
November 6, 201113 yr My gut feeling Richard is that when this was first played the West Coast pressing seemed to be around more than the East Coast copies. I got the W.C. WDJ and I don't remember thinking wow that's different. Since then I've seen far more E.C copies. ROD
November 26, 201113 yr Author Thanks for the info guys Yes a brilliant record and I have yet to see an issue in the other formats - so presuming it was only released commercially from the West Coast. Presumably the distribution deal with Providence records would have been national? Otherwise there would have been no Detroit-area commercial release which would seem a bit strange. Cheers Richard
