Hi All'

Just been mooching through Evil-Bay to kill some time and I saw a record for sale by a band called Fearns Brass Foundry.I haven't heard of this band for years but I do remember them playing at The Catacombs in Wolves in about 1969

Anybody else out there as old as me with any recollection?

Cheers Alan C

From Market Harbourough.

Two good singles, Don't Change It, excellent brass-dominated Northern dancer, Love Sink And Drown midtempo sound, both on Decca, 1968.

I saw them at my first ever dance in 1966 or 67 Market Harborough carnival, Legay were the support playing in a cage like animals. I was more into them then being a zak as Harboro hippies later became known. It was so loud my virgin ears were ringin for a week.

Steve Fearn was from Harboro I think a lot of the band were from Leicester.

I have a Don't Change it for sale on Soul Source and work in Market Harborough how strange is that!
