February 18, 200619 yr Thanks to the MOD's for fixing the bloomin' thing! some info from Ron Brady: "TuRONta Records was a partnership venture with myself and a business associate also named Ron as principal partners. So I decided to incorporate both of our names in the label. I sketched an outline for the label design and gave it to an artist who took it from there. The TuRONta "logo" was my con- ception. Young Girl was written for my niece who was a promising young singer. But at age 14 she was just too young to deal with a recording session in a 24 track studio. So I put a classified ad in the paper for a teen age female singer. We held auditions and Demetrice won. She is an African American and she was 17 when she did the session. I am going to have to re-establish contact with her to she what she did after Young Girl."
February 18, 200619 yr i know i dont get out much so i,m not sure what the hip young things of todays soul scene are in to, but lets just say "ive heard better", and is it worth much ?

February 20, 200619 yr Some records are rare because of Politics (Shrine) Some records are rare because of poor promotion (Delites on Cuppy) Some records are rare because of Artistic decisions (Do I Love You) Some records are rare because they are, in common parlance, a bag-o-shite. This record slots firmly into the latter section. Out of tune, off key dirge with trite lyrics. 0 out of 10. Must try harder. WOOF!
