Just followed the link and this dealer is using one of my pet ebay hate-phrases:

'All records are visually graded. Please e-mail any question.'

'Visually graded'?

That's like an art dealer saying: 'I've only listened to this painting but I'm sure it's a Van Gogh.'

I'm tempted to e-mail him the following question: 'Why don't you play the f*ckers before telling us their condition, you soft tw*t?'

But then the cynic in me wonders if he has, really, and this is just a way of him getting his retaliation in first.

Also, does anyone else not like the look of his Delegates of Soul? These are paper labels in my experience and this one looks moulded over to me (though could just be the photo).

I like his Kenny Gamble too. 'Private pressing'? ROFPMSL the cheeky git. Makes it sound as if Ken knocked a few up for his mates before the proper Arctic run.

Dan - about 80-90% of what I sell is visually graded only. Time just doesn't allow this luxury - plus with some of the sh*te i'm happy to see the back of, I don't wanna hear it wanna buy some electro !!!!

Plus if you check his Jesse Fisher - Honey, its obvious he does what many of us do - play the ones that look like they might not play OK !!

IMO if an ebayer can't be bothered to listen to the tackle he's flogging he should get into something else...like building walls without cement, putting in bathrooms without plumbing or baking bread without flour

mind you, i bought a steve mancha did my baby call ages ago in absolutely shite state (visually) and it 'plays fine' as they say - vinyl vs styrene there i spose

still maintain they ought to spin 'em before you win 'em but takes all sorts
