Don't know the tune but interestingly enough it's written by Shel Talmy, long time producer of The Kinks and The Who in the early 60ts, I take it it's a garage type sound?

Lack-lustre Jazz track that has crossed over from the R&B rooms to the Northern rooms.

Can't understand why they've plumped for this one, when there are loads of crackin' uptempo R&B tracks that scream Northern at you...

Doesn't really do much for me to be honest, like you say far better 'crackin' tracks..............but its catchy and that has a massive effect.

Shel Talmy wrote it prior to his move to England.

The Dra issue is from 1961/1962, the United Modern issue is from 1965.
