There is a flyer going around Barrow-in-Furness that Kim Weston will be appearing on Friday 22nd February. Its looks the real deal. However, its very out of the ordinary for Barrow.

It hasn't been organised by anybody in the Northern Scene so just wondering if she is appearing anywhere else?

The Flyer indicates she will be singing Gospal, Jazz, Blues and a Sprinkling of Motown anyone seen this act before? any recommendations?

Think she's part of the big soul package that David Guest is putting on in Liverpool soon.

Probably over here for the 'Guest Show' & has taken the opportunity of any booking.

Last time I saw her, her voice wasn't in good shape but that may have been a health / UK climate problem at that time.

Just found the below flyer. The same line up is down to play Liverpool as well.

Last time she was in the UK I saw her at 'HiFi' club in Leeds and as Ruburt says, her voice wasn't in good shape at the time, but she did try bless her, and she did manage to hit a high note or two. Well worth seeing anyway.
