Did any of the records on the Jacklyn label ever get booted, if yes which ones and how to recognise one. Thanks in advance. Mick Perrins.

The Paul Smith "I'll run" was booted for the Jamaican market. It's pretty obviously a boot, the font / paper looks wrong though. I don't think anything else on the label was booted.

Are there two different labels - that one and the totally different design one? Thought one was Chicago and one was New York. No doubt I am wrong.

I only know of one Jacklyn label from Chicago. Is there a specific new york release you're thinking of that I might be forgetting? Thanks.

No sorry I'm thinking of "Groovy" not Jacklyn

probably easy to confuse since darrow fletcher was on both labels

I find the Detroit connecion to Darrow's work interesting.

On Jacklyn there was "What Good Am I Without You" - Mike Terry etc.

On Groovy there was "Gotta Draw The Line" which was a Solid Hitbound Production.

Any others please?

Cheers

Richard
