who owned this in the 70s

Still do mate,7&12 inch.Cracking sound in its day.

Sorry, but I have to come to the defence of this. A blistering soul tune it may not be but as a classic 70s shuffler it is fantastic. Used to be a Yate standard and I'd still jump on the dancefloor today if it was played.

With you on those sentiments  .I always associate it with Center City-Fat Larrys Band as they always seemed to go together at St Ives

I must be deaf then, cos it was records like this that stopped me going to a number of Venues back in the day. It was and always will be, to my ears at least, complete and utter shite! Only played I believe because it was cheap and available so anyone could get one.

Sorry to be so forward, but I wouldn't be happy with someone walking down my street with this crap, never mind bringing it in mi house! ......

Rant over!...

Dave

Got a nice 7" demo of CC on wmot. And an even nicer 12" copy of 'Act Like You Know' which is far better than CC. Sure I've even got a copy of 'Zoom'. So what the problem? Not like it's kiddie porn is it?

Yip still got mine - played it out a few times last year to a packed dancefloor too. Memories of the Manchester Ritz (when it was a good venue) Sunday All Dayers
