....Relaxing at home yesterday, playing four Al Green albums back to back, was the most happiness-inducing thing I've done in weeks....

...What's really floated your musical boat in this stifling heat? Doesn't have to be rare, just good!

I played the Chuck Strong "Stolen Love" album yesterday, first time in a while and it sounded sooooo good.

Followed that with two other long unplayed albums: Jeff Floyd - "Changing Times" and Kevin Owens - "That Time Again".

Perfect mellow summer soul. ohmy.gif

The Commodores "High on sunshine" always does it for me. Their early stuff is very underrated.

I bought a cheapy CD titled "Immortal Lady Day - Vol 1", if you like the lady you will love this, a nice glass of what ever takes your fancy and just listen, fantastic.

Tell you what else I listened to today... Platters, I Get The Sweetest Feeling... yet again those twanging guitar rifts prevailed and I was exported to some other place.
