Can someone tell me how much time is allowed before paying after winning a JM auction?? I have searched for an answer on their site but didn't find any.

I think John normally makes contact with the winning bidders to agree payment terms.

John's been doing this a long time, maybe it would be better for you to contact him and ask. he won't bite your head off he's a reasonable chap. 

but it would be better for you to contact him, nothing worse than having to chase money.

If you won an auction you should have received an email asking you to contact them like this one:

 

 

CONGRATULATIONS

You have won the auction [details of auction item] for [£ winning bid amount]. Please phone our order desk on 01664 464991 to arrange preferred method of payment.
